All Stars

Hello Mariners!

For those attending All Stars this weekend, per Chris Sizemore's email this morning, you can find everything about the meet on the site she provided.  However, the meet host asked that I provide the following information to everyone attending, including Coaches:

  1. Timers have been assigned. There are 2 timing chairs behind each block (2 people). It is up to each team to determine your timing shifts. If your team is listed twice in that lane, you are to provide 2 timers. If it is listed once, you provide 1 timer.
  2. Warmups have been assigned. Feet first for warm ups. Toward the end of your warmup time, you can practice diving one way.
  3. The 3-lane warmup/down pool will be open during competition. Please remind athletes to properly use the lanes. Should they be abused, we do reserve the right to shut it down for the remainder of the session.
  4. Please see the meet highlight document on our website and in the meet program. This will help answer a lot of questions for those who have not been to a large invitational meet before or perhaps the KHS facility.
  5. ALL SWIMMERS will exit the backdoor of the natatorium to return to the hallway to meet parents. PLEASE let parents know this is how they are walking back from their event. Encourage them not to crowd near the spectator seating of the nat to allow proper traffic flow.
  6. NO ONE is allowed to enter the restricted areas of the school. If anyone is found in these areas, the KISD police will be notified. Areas will be blocked off and restricted signs will be posted.
  7. Live unofficial results will be available via the Meet Mobile App.
  8. COACHES/AWARD REPRESENTATIVES. Please plan to stay behind on Sunday and pick up any awards not picked up by your team. We will not mail them.
  9. Coaching staff must check in at the table just inside the natatorium to receive their deck pass and paperwork. If they are bringing a check for entry fees, it must be given at the table prior to receiving their packet.
  10. Congratulations on another great NWAL season. HAVE FUN and SWIM BEYOND THE BOUNDARIES!

Go Mariners!
