Good evening Mariners!

• Great successful weekend! What an exciting weekend for the Mariners team and family. One more win in the books and more compliments from the other team about how the meet was run and how FUN we are. I hope we never lose the fun. LOTS of time improvements...again. Then we had several participants in the Summer Thunder invitational and who are representing our team well - good sportsmanship, time improvements, and many placing in the top tier! Congratulations to all who participated in the invitational, congratulations on the win against Huntwick, and congratulations for the time drops!
• Last dual meet this Saturday! We have our very last dual meet this coming Saturday at home against High Meadow Ranch Mustangs. Please continue to show the other teams how respectful, sportsmanlike and fun we are...oh, and GOOD! :-) High Meadow Ranch is the smallest team in the division, so it just may our fastest meet. A reminder from our HOA - 1) please pick up all trash around you before leaving and 2) please do not park within 15 feet of a stop sign or in front of a mailbox.
• Divisonals - Our divisionals will be different than normal this year due to the size of our division and lack of available indoor pools. The team representatives met and voted on the best method to get through the many events with all 6 teams at a normal pool. More to come by the end of this week, including volunteer opportunities and starting times.
• Nominations for elections - Elections are in two weeks and we are still looking for people to fill several positions. Please access the Sign-up Genius to nominate yourself or another (please ensure the one you nominate is aware). The positions are well explained in the current by-laws (attached) and we are working on updating them again to reflect today's exact responsibilities. If you have any questions about a specific role, please let me know (or the current board member in that position. We need more nominations for President, Volunteer Coordinator, Sponsorship Coordinator, Equipment Coordinator, Concessions Coordinator and Member-at-Large.
• EOS Party - Don't forget to RSVP on the form provided on the website and on FB to let us know how many swimmers and other family members are attending the party on June 20th. We have a committee that is planning a fun event and I heard there will be a cool DJ there (not that our own DJs aren't cool!!)! :-)
• Volunteering - As the season winds down, please make sure to help where you can even if you've met your requirement. Let's finish these last two events (dual meet and divisionals) successful with our wonderful dedicated volunteers. Thank you all SOOOOO much for volunteering and making this an incredible season.
• Last invitationals on weekend of Saturday and Sunday June 25th and 26th. Please look out for an email from me with those qualifying for All Stars and/or Ponderosa (information attached). This Saturday is the last day to qualify for either.
