President Report

Please make sure we are where we are, when we are committed to be there. We need enough in attendance to have a quorum and be able to address the necessary items.

• First NWAL board meeting - RJ has the information. Proposals, etc.
  • Our proposed division – White 4
  • Voting in next meeting
    • Divisionals? Divisionals and Divisional Finals only in the top 2. Individual divisions will decide. Minor rule changes. These teams are far.

• Cypress has cheaper prices than KISD for their natatoriums.

• Websites – need admin (Chris is willing to help, but doesn’t want the title or full responsibilities). Need to look into getting another position.
• Someone to take on T-shirts and EOY trophies (helping Sean). Sean will help with the ordering of the shirts and Trophies
• Chris will bring tshirt samples. No thick cotton t-shirts.
• Updating what’s needed on the website – minutes, financials (Jesse has the hard drive and will send this to Chris.) We need the last 5 year financials to post on the website. We need to delete information from the hard drive from certain years because you can only keep it for so long. We need to find out 501C3 requirements for tax purposes on how long to keep documentation, and then comply.
• Raveneux- "We went to Wimbledon because we didn't know about Mariners. "

• Special needs swim competition- Really appreciated the use of our starter and coach. Add a post on our page!!!!

  • Treasurer is going to send secretary the sheet to post in the minutes.
• The goal of the board is to have around $10,000 in the bank by the end of the year.....
• COACHES sponsorship... to pay our coaches salary.

-We need to determine registration dates for early and regular registration. April 1 was discussed as the deadline.

-Proposal for Registration pricing needs to be completed soon so we can post before January 1st.

Secretary Report

Sponsorship Report

• Vote on sponsorship form -
  • Motioned -$600 Sponsorship for a family of 3 by March 1st. Covers family cost up to 3 kids. Does not include volunteer deposit-
  • -March 1st the price increases to $750 for a family of 3. Does not include volunteer deposit.
  • Motioned Seconded Approved
• Sponsors and amount earned from last year
  • Sponsors need to provide their own individual banner.
  • Sponsorship level determines the size of the logo on the banner. $500 plus get a sponsorship plaque.
  • When certain amount of families buy photos we get donated plaques.
